Yeh attack Baisaran Valley mein hua, jo ek popular tourist spot hai. Is attack mein 26 Hindu tourists ki jaan chali gayi aur 20 se zyada log injured ho gaye. Yeh India mein 2008 Mumbai attacks ke baad sabse deadly attack tha. The Resistance Front (TRF), jo ek Pakistan-based terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba ka offshoot hai, usne is attack ki responsibility li. Unka kehna tha ki yeh attack Indian government ki policy ke khilaaf tha, jo non-Kashmiris ko Kashmir mein settle hone ki permission deti hai.Indian authorities ne is attack ka link Pakistan se connect kiya, aur forensic evidence ke saath yeh confirm kiya ki isme Pakistan-based operatives ka haath ho sakta hai.
