Yeh operation Indian Armed Forces ka ek zabardast jawab hai un terrorists ke khilaaf jo humare desh ke sukoon ko chheen rahe hain. Operation Sindoor Kya Hai?
Operation Sindoor ek military strike operation hai jo Indian Armed Forces ne 7 May 2025 ko launch kiya tha. Is operation ka target tha Pakistan aur Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) mein chhupi hui terrorist facilities. Yeh operation ek response tha 22 April 2025 ko Pahalgam, Kashmir mein hue ek deadly terror attack ka, jisme 26 logon ki jaan chali gayi thi. Us attack mein zyadatar Hindu tourists target kiye gaye the, aur yeh attack The Resistance Front (TRF) ne claim kiya tha, jo Lashkar-e-Taiba ka ek offshoot hai.
Operation Sindoor ke under, Indian Army, Navy, aur Air Force ne milke 24 precision missile strikes kiye aur 9 terror targets ko hit kiya. Yeh targets Pakistan ke cities jaise Bahawalpur aur PoK ke areas jaise Muzaffarabad mein the. In targets mein terrorist groups jaise Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), aur Hizbul Mujahideen ke hideouts the. Indian Defence Ministry ne kaha ki yeh operation “focused, measured, aur non-escalatory” tha, matlab ki unhone Pakistani military installations ko target nahi kiya.
Operation ka naam “Sindoor” bhi bohot symbolic hai. Sindoor, jo Hindu married women apne forehead pe lagati hain, uska yahan ek deep meaning hai. Pahalgam attack mein terrorists ne Hindu tourists ko target kiya tha, aur unke families ko widows bana diya. Operation Sindoor ka naam un widows ke suhaag ke sindoor ka ek tribute hai – ek jawab jo kehta hai ki India apne logon ke liye ladega, chahe kuch bhi ho!
Pahalgam Attack: The Trigger Point
Toh yeh sab start kaise hua? 22 April 2025 ko, Pahalgam ke Baisaran Valley mein ek brutal terror attack hua. Yeh area bohot hi beautiful hai, jahan tourists pine forests ke beech ghumne aate hain. Lekin us din, 5 armed militants ne wahan aake 26 civilians ko maar diya. Inme zyadatar Hindu tourists the, lekin ek Christian tourist aur ek local Muslim bhi is attack mein mare gaye. Militants ke paas M4 carbines aur AK-47s the, aur unhone tourists ko segregate karke non-Muslims ko target kiya.
Yeh attack India ke liye ek bada shock tha, kyunki yeh 2008 Mumbai attacks ke baad sabse deadly civilian attack tha. The Resistance Front (TRF) ne is attack ki responsibility li, aur kaha ki yeh Indian government ki policy ke khilaaf ek protest tha jo non-Kashmiris ko wahan settle hone ki permission deti hai. TRF ko Lashkar-e-Taiba ka ek offshoot maana jata hai, aur Indian authorities ne yeh bhi claim kiya ki is attack ke peeche Pakistan ke Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) ka haath tha.
Attack ke baad, Indian Army, paramilitary forces, aur Jammu and Kashmir Police ne ek joint operation start kiya. Pahalgam mein lockdown laga diya gaya, aur militants ko track karne ke liye helicopters deploy kiye gaye. Is operation mein Indian Armed Forces ne 9 terror targets pe strikes kiye, jisme 4 targets Pakistan ke Punjab province mein the (jaise Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur), aur 5 targets PoK mein the (jaise Syedna Bilal Camp in Muzaffarabad). Yeh strikes precision missile attacks ke through kiye gaye, aur Indian Air Force ke jets, jaise Rafale, ne isme bada role play kiya.
Indian government ke top leaders ne is operation ko support kiya. Prime Minister Narendra Modi ne kaha tha ki India Pahalgam attackers ko “ends of the earth” tak chase karega. Defence Minister ne kaha ki yeh operation un innocent logon ke liye ek jawab hai jo Pahalgam mein mare gaye. Foreign Minister S Jaishankar ne bhi kaha ki world ko terrorism ke khilaaf “zero tolerance” dikhana chahiye.
Operation ke baad, Pakistan ne isko “act of war” kaha aur retaliate kiya. Pakistani Defence Minister Khawaja Asif ne claim kiya ki unhone 5 Indian aircrafts – 3 Rafale jets, 1 MiG-29, aur 1 SU-series aircraft – ko shoot down kiya. Pakistan ne yeh bhi kaha ki Indian strikes mein 26 log mare gaye aur 46 injured hue, jabki India ne kaha ki sirf 8 log retaliatory strikes mein mare. Line of Control (LoC) pe dono countries ke beech heavy shelling bhi hui.

International Reactions: Israel Se Lekar UN Tak
Operation Sindoor ke baad, international community ne bhi react kiya. Israel ne openly India ko support kiya. Israel ke Ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, ne X pe likha, “Israel supports India’s right for self defense. Terrorists should know there’s no place to hide from their heinous crimes against the innocent. #OperationSindoor”. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu ne bhi PM Modi ko condolences diya tha Pahalgam attack ke baad.
Lekin Pakistan ne is operation ko strongly condemn kiya. Pakistani military ne kaha ki Indian strikes mein civilian areas target kiye gaye, jaise mosques in Bahawalpur aur Kotli. Unhone yeh bhi claim kiya ki unke response mein koi military installation nahi hit hui, sirf civilian areas affected hue.
United Nations ke Secretary-General Antonio Guterres ne dono countries se “maximum restraint” dikhane ko kaha. Unhone kaha, “The world cannot afford a military confrontation between India and Pakistan.” Yeh baat bilkul sahi hai, kyunki dono countries nuclear-armed hain, aur koi bhi full-blown conflict bohot dangerous ho sakta hai.
Al Jazeera ke ek report mein, University of Westminster ki professor Nitasha Kaul ne kaha, “The worst affected are going to be the people in the region, the Kashmiris, who are caught between the competing and proprietorial and rival postures of India and Pakistan.” Yeh ek bohot important point hai, kyunki Kashmir ke locals hi hamesha in conflicts ke beech suffer karte hain.
Kya Hai Is Operation Ka Asar?
Operation Sindoor ka asar bohot deep hai. Ek taraf, isne India ke stance ko clear kiya ki hum terrorism ke khilaaf koi compromise nahi karenge. Kashmir ke locals ke liye bhi yeh situation tough hai. Pahalgam attack ke baad tourism pe bada asar pada hai, kyunki yeh area tourists ke liye famous tha. Dal Lake ke shikara operators ne protests kiye, kyunki unka business affected ho raha hai. Operation Sindoor ke baad, border areas mein zyada insecurity ho gayi hai, aur civilians hi iska sabse zyada nuksaan utha rahe hain.

Operation Sindoor ek bold step tha Indian Armed Forces ka, jo dikhata hai ki India apne logon ki safety ke liye kuch bhi kar sakta hai.
