RBI Ne Kiya Repo Rate Mein 50 BPS Ka Cut – EMI Hogi Sasti!

Aaj, 6 June 2025 ko, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) ke Governor Sanjay Malhotra ne ek bada announcement kiya hai. RBI ki Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) ne repo rate ko 50 basis points (0.5%) se cut karke 5.5% kar diya hai. Yeh teesra consecutive rate cut hai is saal, jo February 2025 se shuru hua tha. Iske saath hi, policy stance bhi neutral kar diya gaya hai, jo growth ko boost karne ka signal deta hai.

Kya Hai Repo Rate?

Repo rate wo interest rate hai jisme RBI commercial banks ko short-term loans deta hai. Jab repo rate kam hota hai, banks ke liye borrowing sasti ho jati hai, aur woh is benefit ko customers tak pass karte hain. Iska matlab hai ki home loans, car loans, aur personal loans ki interest rates bhi kam ho sakti hain, jisse aapki EMI (Equated Monthly Installment) pe load kaafi kam ho jayega.

Common Man Ke Liye Kya Fayda?

Is 50 basis points ke cut ke baad, experts ka kehna hai ki banks apne lending rates, jaise Repo-Linked Lending Rate (RLLR) aur External Benchmark Lending Rate (EBLR), ko bhi adjust karenge. Yeh directly impact karega aapke home loan aur vehicle loan pe. For example, agar aapka home loan repo rate se linked hai, toh aapki EMI kuchh months mein kam ho sakti hai. Yeh naye borrowers ke liye bhi good news hai kyunki ab loans saste milenge.

Lekin, ek flip side bhi hai. Fixed deposit (FD) holders ke liye interest rates kam ho sakte hain, jo senior citizens ke liye thodi tension wali baat ho sakti hai. Experts suggest kar rahe hain ki agar aap FD karna chahte hain, toh jaldi se high-interest rates lock kar len.

Kyun Kiya Gaya Rate Cut?

RBI ka yeh faisla low inflation aur slower economic growth ke wajah se liya gaya hai. Reports ke according, Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation FY26 mein 3.5% ke aaspaas rahega, jo RBI ke 4% target se neeche hai. Saath hi, global uncertainties, jaise US ke reciprocal tariffs, ke wajah se India ke growth ko support karne ke liye yeh step liya gaya hai. RBI ne GDP growth forecast bhi revise karke 6.5% kar diya hai FY26 ke liye.

Banks Ka Response

Pichhle rate cuts ke baad, State Bank of India (SBI), HDFC Bank, Punjab National Bank (PNB), aur Bank of India jaise banks ne apne lending rates already kam kiye hain. Is baar bhi expect kiya ja raha hai ki yeh banks jaldi hi naye rates announce karenge, jo borrowers ke liye aur relief la sakta hai.

Aage Kya?

Experts ka kehna hai ki yeh rate cut cycle thodi der tak chal sakta hai. Morgan Stanley aur SBI Research ke reports suggest karte hain ki RBI shayad aur 50-75 basis points tak cut kar sakta hai by Diwali 2025. Yeh common man ke liye ek bada gift ho sakta hai, khaas kar unke liye jo ghar ya car kharidne ka plan kar rahe hain.

Toh, agar aap loan lene ya FD karne ka soch rahe hain, toh yeh time market ko closely monitor karne ka hai. Stay tuned to kishanbaraiya.com for more updates on finance aur economy!
