Shangri-La Dialogue Mein CDS General Anil Chauhan Ne Pakistan Ko Diya Strict Warning!

Singapore, 2 June 2025 – Asia ke premier defence forum, Shangri-La Dialogue mein, India aur Pakistan ke top military officials ke beech heated exchange ne sabka dhyan khicha. Indian Armed Forces ke Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan ne Pakistan ko ek nayi “red line” ke baare mein warn kiya, jismein unhone terrorism ke khilaf India ke zero-tolerance stance ko clearly bold kiya. Ye baat Operation Sindoor ke context mein boli gayi, jo 7 May ko launch hua tha as a retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack jismein 26 logon ki jaan gayi thi.

Kya Hai Operation Sindoor?

Operation Sindoor ek major military action tha jismein India ne Pakistan aur Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) mein 9 terror infrastructures ko destroy kiya. CDS Chauhan ne kaha ki ye operation dikhata hai ki India ab terrorism ke against apni “limit of tolerance” cross hone par chup nahi baithega. Unhone Bloomberg TV ke saath ek interview mein bataya ki Indian forces ne 300 km tak Pakistan ke andar ghuskar “pinpoint accuracy” ke saath terror hubs ko target kiya, including Muzaffarabad se Bahawalpur tak ke key locations jo Lashkar-e-Taiba aur Jaish-e-Mohammad jaise groups ke liye safe havens maane jaate hain.

General Chauhan ne yeh bhi highlight kiya ki India ne is operation mein indigenous platforms ka use kiya, like Akash air defence system, aur kisi foreign vendor par depend nahi kiya. Pakistan ke claims jo Chinese weapons ki effectiveness ke baare mein the, unko bhi unhone downplay kiya, kehkar ki wo “did not work.”

Shangri-La Dialogue Mein Kya Hua?

Shangri-La Dialogue, jo Singapore mein 31 May se 2 June tak chala, ek platform hai jahan global defence leaders critical security issues discuss karte hain. Is baar, India aur Pakistan ke generals, General Anil Chauhan aur Pakistan ke Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, ek hi venue par the, par different sessions mein. Dono sides ne ek doosre ko warnings di, with Chauhan emphasizing ki India ne terrorism ke khilaf ek nayi lakir kheech di hai.

Unhone kaha, “Humne decades se proxy war aur terror attacks sahe hain, aur ab hum isse end karna chahte hain. Operation Sindoor ek lesson hai for our adversary, ki India ki tolerance ki limit ab clear hai.” Yeh statement Pakistan ke liye direct message tha, jismein unhone nuclear threats ke narrative ko bhi challenge kiya.

Pakistan ke General Mirza ne iska response diya, denying involvement in the Pahalgam attack aur yeh bhi claim kiya ki Pakistan ke National Command Authority ne nuclear weapons ke use ka koi discussion nahi kiya.

Political Reactions in India

India mein, Congress party ne CDS ke remarks ko lekar Modi government par questions uthaye, particularly unke claim ke baare mein ki initial setback hua tha during the May 7-10 clash with Pakistan. Congress ne poocha ki yeh “tactical mistakes” kya the aur kyun disclose nahi kiye gaye. However, Chauhan ne clarify kiya ki India ne in mistakes ko turant rectify kiya aur Pakistan ko significantly greater losses hue.

Global Context Mein Kya Matlab?

Operation Sindoor ne South Asia ke strategic landscape ko reshape kiya hai. Experts ka kehna hai ki India ne Pakistan ke nuclear deterrence ke myth ko break kiya, showing ki calibrated force use karke India escalation ko control kar sakta hai. Yeh operation air, cyber, naval, aur informational domains mein coordinated tha, aur India ne apni strategic sovereignty ko prove kiya.

Jaise ki Prime Minister Narendra Modi ne Adampur airbase visit ke during S-400 systems ke saath ek bold statement diya, India ab narrative ko own kar raha hai, with transparency aur swift action.

Aage Kya?

Shangri-La Dialogue ke discussions se clear hai ki India aur Pakistan ke beech tensions abhi bhi high hain. General Chauhan ne innovation aur self-reliance in defence par bhi zor diya, saying ki India ab kisi ek nation par depend nahi karta for its defence needs. Yeh ek signal hai ki India apni military capabilities ko aur strengthen karega.
